Having signed a lease for a space within Parkside Apartments at 7506 N. Oak Trafficway, Hooks is poised to bring his signature flavors to a broader audience. The decision to open a second location comes on the heels of the success of his downtown Parkville to-go window, which quickly garnered a loyal following.
The new restaurant will offer seating for over 55 patrons in the dining room, along with a well-equipped bar, spacious patio, and a dedicated to-go area, ensuring a seamless dining experience for customers on the move.
While the Parkville location currently boasts a menu featuring mouthwatering ribs, brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, and an array of sides, the Gladstone outpost will introduce an expanded selection. Anticipate tantalizing additions such as sliced turkey, salads, chicken fingers, fries, nachos, quesadillas, and breakfast burritos featuring brisket or pulled pork.

Operating hours for the Gladstone location are set from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, catering to early risers and late-night cravings alike.
Hooks' journey into the world of barbecue began in his family's kitchen during his tween years, where he honed his culinary skills before graduating to crafting barbecue in a backyard smoker during his teens. Since 2015, he has balanced his passion for cooking with a full-time job, gradually building Off the Hook BBQ into a local culinary sensation.
The negotiations for the new restaurant location were facilitated by Michael Meier and Sam Blacksher of Aristocrat Realty, ensuring a smooth transition for Off the Hook BBQ's expansion into Gladstone. With anticipation building and a proven track record of culinary excellence, Hooks and his team are poised to make Off the Hook BBQ a household name beyond Parkville's city limits.
