Local Youths Cause Commotion Behind Quick Trip

Disturbance Reported Behind Quick Trip, Liberty: Police on Alert

Late Sunday night, a series of disruptive incidents unfolded near the Quick Trip at the intersection of 291 and I35, causing concern among locals and prompting a swift response from law enforcement.

Who needs reality TV when you have local teenagers providing live entertainment? Sunday night, the area behind the Quick Trip at 291 and I35 turned into the stage for the latest episode of "What Will They Do Next?" featuring everyone's favorite group of unruly teens.

Clad in ski masks—because who doesn't need a little extra warmth in 90-degree weather?—these aspiring troublemakers decided to spice up the night by challenging patrons at Nicky’s to a round of impromptu fisticuffs. Clearly, they thought "Dinner and a Show" was an all-inclusive package.

Witnesses reported a group of youths, reportedly teenagers, causing disturbances in the vicinity. Eyewitnesses described them as attempting to incite altercations with patrons at Nicky’s, a nearby restaurant, despite attempts by business owners to maintain order.

"They go from place to place over on that side of town trying to cause fights (with adults) because they are told to leave," remarked one eyewitness who wished to remain anonymous. The situation escalated when the youths allegedly donned ski masks despite the summer heat, prompting heightened concern among onlookers.

Local authorities have been informed of the incidents, with multiple calls made to report the disruptive behavior. However, witnesses expressed frustration over what they described as a delayed response from law enforcement.

"These thugs should be arrested," commented another resident who witnessed the events. "One would think if the parents of these thugs recognize them they would do something to correct this problem."

Business owners in the area have been urged to alert authorities promptly should such incidents occur again. Despite the challenges faced during the response, Liberty Police Department has assured residents that they are actively investigating the incidents and are committed to ensuring public safety.
