When I read this, it makes me conclude that Andy Reid is a better coach than Bill Belechik because of how both coaches have arrived at success . Belechik did not allow players to express their personalities to the level Andy has, relying on strategy and discipline. Andy has developed an environment in which a players personality fits into a cohesive locker room of personalities. Veteran leadership is one key to Andy's success while developed standards take away individualism. This reminds me of my childhood. I had a little league coach by the name of Joe Hurtado. He was an unbelievable success. He gave each kid a nickname. He won a lot of championships while grooming children to understand the game of football as individuals. I once had 12 sacks in one game which inspired me to work harder than ever. When I made it to the high school level, I experienced upperclassmen who grew up much the same but a coach in Jerry Crews whose coaching philosophy was outdated. There simply was no having fun with coaches instituting their own vicarious way. This led to a high school football team that was awful.
