ICE Raids Absent in Northland

Is Kansas City's Status as a Sanctuary City Over?

ICE has put feet on the ground and spotted elusive illegal migrants in Olathe KS, following executive orders by Prez Trump according to journalist news junkie,  Tony Botello. Local News stations have yet to confirm. Here at the Gladstone, we have yet to see any invaders migrants fleeing from the kitchens of our favorite restaurants.

In a daring move reminiscent of a wildlife safari, ICE agents have bravely ventured into parts of the Kansas City metro area in search of undocumented migrants. However, much to the relief of KC Northland residents, ICE has yet to set foot in our picturesque neighborhoods. Residents have reported an increased KCPD presence in the Northland over the last few weeks but no federal agency presence.

Sources report that ICE's efforts have so far concentrated on areas south of the river and on the Kansas side, where sightings of undocumented migrants allegedly threatened the peace and tranquility of unsuspecting locals. "It's like they're tracking rare species," remarked one bemused resident, peering through curtains for a glimpse of the action.

Despite the absence of raids in the Northland, this lil rock assures you that their mission continues with fervor elsewhere. No doubt they are  focusing on where the real action is, implicitly drawing a distinction between the suburban tranquility and the untamed territories they are monitoring closely.

Certain JaCo officials are freaking out.  https://x.com/MannyAbarcaIV/status/1882154354674905364

As the saga unfolds, KC Northland remains an oasis untouched by ICE's net, leaving residents to wonder when, if ever, they'll witness the excitement firsthand.
