Gladstone Begins Repainting Water Towers

Gladstone, MO – The city of Gladstone has officially launched a restoration and repainting project for two of its water towers—Antioch Water Tower and Linden Water Tower. The project, aimed at maintaining the city’s infrastructure, includes not only fresh coats of paint but also various upgrades to improve the longevity and functionality of both towers.

As part of the preparation process, the city will construct two temporary poles at the Antioch site to accommodate the short-term relocation of cell antennas. This measure ensures minimal disruption to communication services while work is underway.

Beyond aesthetic improvements, the project will include maintenance upgrades to enhance the towers' structural integrity. The city has not yet disclosed the exact nature of these additional upgrades but has confirmed that they are necessary for ensuring the long-term reliability of Gladstone’s water supply system.

The restoration efforts are expected to be completed by the end of summer 2025. Until then, residents may notice construction activity around both sites. City officials have not indicated any anticipated service disruptions but advise the public to be mindful of work zones in the area.

This project reflects Gladstone’s commitment to infrastructure maintenance, ensuring that essential services remain functional and visually appealing for years to come.
