Clay County Senior Property Tax Relief Program Backed Up With Applications

Residents of Clay County, Missouri, have voiced a variety of experiences with the Senior Property Tax Relief Program application process, with some applicants receiving quick email receipts when submitting the application while others have been left in the dark about receipt of their applications for several weeks. Furthermore, there is currently no online portal to check the approval status for the program. In response to growing questions and concerns, Clay County Commissioner Jason Withington provided an important update regarding the eligibility confirmation process. “Confirmation will start going out in mid-February,” Withington said.
